Welcome!
I’m Lydia, a garden educator and landscape designer. My goal is to help you connect with the natural world around you by growing a dynamic and abundant landscape.
I believe that we're happier, healthier, and more resilient when we're connected to nature and our local food systems. If you agree, you're in the right place!
Washington service area: Vancouver, Ridgefield, Battle Ground, Camas, and Washougal
Oregon service area: North, NE, and SE Portland
Bio
I was born and raised in Oregon and hold a Bachelors degree in Design, an Associates degree in Environmental Landscape Management, and a certificate from the Cascadia Permaculture Institute.
When I’m not working with clients I can be found tending my own garden, cooking, or spending time with my wife, our cats Juniper, Maple, Fig, and Quince, or our backyard hens.
Community Care
Radish Gardens values indigenous science and cultural practices, organizing for fair labor and working conditions, mutual aid, liberation for all oppressed peoples, and building the skills needed for us to collectively care for the ecosystem that sustains us.
